The Valparai photography tour is a 3 days 2 nights itinerary timed around light, not tickets: sunrise and mist at Nallamudi Poonjolai, textures of tea and silver oak, Sholayar backwaters at dusk, monsoon waterfalls and ethical wildlife photography along roads and estate edges. The driver waits at every good frame.
Day 1Day 1
A late-morning start so the ghat is shot in afternoon light: Aliyar reservoir from Loam's View Point, the curves of the bends from safe pull-outs, and tea textures near the top. Evening scouting for the next sunrise.
Day 2Day 2
At Nallamudi before first light, then estates and shade-tree rows in the golden hour. Midday rest, Chinnakallar Falls in soft afternoon light, and Sholayar backwaters for dusk.
Day 3Day 3
A slow early drive on public roads for primates, hornbills and gaur — always from the car and at a respectful distance — then the descent.

We enjoyed many wildlife spottings elephant,leopard,sloth bear,wild dogs,great Indian guar,lion tailed macaque,giant squirrel, and many birds etc in this tour with help of Mahesh.He is very good guide and good friend I had got from valparai. Food provided in the package was very excellent and home made local stuff.Special mention on time food was delivered to room.Non veg was very tasty as we paid that belongs to our request. We enjoyed local cusines,bamboo rafting,tribal dance,tribal people visit, with help of Mahesh and stay given inside the forest was highly recommend by this travels.
