This Valparai adventure tour package strings together the most active things you can do on the plateau within forest rules: a forest-department guided trek or safari at Topslip, a sunrise walk to the Nallamudi cliff edge, an estate-road hike, the rocky trail to Chinnakallar Falls and a day on the daylight-only Malakkappara forest road down to Vazhachal and Athirappilly. It is soft adventure — no unauthorised treks, no river swimming in currents — planned by a naturalist for friends, active couples and student groups.
Day 1Day 1
An early start for Topslip in the Anamalai Tiger Reserve. If the forest department is running guided treks, you join one with their guide; the route, group size and duration are theirs to decide. Otherwise we take the department's safari. In the afternoon, climb the 40 hairpin bends via Aliyar with a stop at Attakatti.
Day 2Day 2
Walk in to Nallamudi Poonjolai for sunrise, then hike 5–6 km on estate roads through tea and silver oak while the cab follows. After lunch in town, take the short rocky path to Chinnakallar Falls (fullest July–November) and end the day on the pebbles of Koolangal river.
Day 3Day 3
Leave after breakfast to reach the Malakkappara checkpost within its daylight hours. The road runs through dense forest past the Kerala reservoirs to Vazhachal Falls and Athirappilly Falls. Drop at Chalakudy station, Thrissur or Kochi airport by evening — or return to Pollachi the way you came if the forest road is closed.

Forest-department guided treks and safaris at Topslip, sunrise and estate-road walks, short waterfall trails, river stops and the forest road to Athirappilly. Trekking inside the tiger reserve is allowed only on official programmes.
