Quick answer

A north-to-south Kerala road trip runs roughly Wayanad → Kozhikode → Thrissur → Kochi → Munnar → Thekkady → Alleppey → Kovalam → Trivandrum. Allow 10–12 days, keep most driving days under 6 hours, and fly in to Kozhikode or Kannur and out of Trivandrum to avoid backtracking. Our 10-day tour follows a variation that starts in Kochi.

Suggested order

  1. Wayanad (2–3 nights)
  2. Kochi (1 night)
  3. Munnar (2 nights)
  4. Thekkady (1 night)
  5. Alleppey houseboat (1 night)
  6. Kovalam (1–2 nights)
  7. Trivandrum (1 night)
