Opposite ends of Kerala — the distance matters more than the sights.
Give Wayanad 2–3 nights (caves, falls, dams and a wildlife safari attempt) and Trivandrum with Kovalam 2 nights. Because they are about 480–500 km apart at opposite ends of Kerala, add at least one full travel day or include Munnar and Alleppey in between, as our 10-day grand tour does.
